Scholarship Information
PrenuptialAgreements.org wants to give back to the community that has helped us grow and flourish. We’re awarding a $1,000 scholarship to college students through the Prenuptial Agreements Scholarship Essay Program. Awards will be granted to one student whom we select from our pool of applicants. Applicants must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:
Eligibility Requirements
Major: Any major is accepted.
Enrollment: You must be currently enrolled or enrolled next year in an undergraduate program at an accredited school in the United States.
If you meet the above requirements, we urge you to apply for our $1,000 scholarship program.
How to Apply
Applicants must submit a 1,000-word essay when applying. All essays must be on the following topic: “If you could make a single change that would make the divorce process easier, what would it be, and why?”
Requirements for your essay include
Word Count: 1,000 words minimum
Format: All essays must by typed, double-spaced, and use standard margins, and sent in a Microsoft Word document or compatible format.
Original: All essays must be original. Applicants that have been found plagiarizing will not be considered for current and future scholarship opportunities. All work must be original.
Submission Process
We ask that you send all essays to: scholarship@prenuptialagreements.org along with the following information:
1. Your full name, telephone number and mailing address.
2. The name of the college or university that you currently attend or will be attending.
3. Proof that you have, either been accepted, or are currently attending the college or university that you specified.
4. The area that you study.
How Essays Are Judged
Our scholarship committee will review all submitted essays. All applicants will be judged on the essay provided. While we are looking at the entries, we will be looking for creativity, clarity and the overall quality of statements put forward.
Deadline
Your essay must be submitted by January 31, 2019. We will review all of the applications submitted and declare one winner within 30 days of submission deadline. By submitting your essay to us, you agree that your essay may be featured on our website. The winner will have their name and essay posted on our website. Published essays may appear with minor edits in place.
